Front Hat

In Front Hat, you play AS Front Hat.

Run away from the foul chaser, and don't get caught! The theme of the game jam was "can't go back" and as such, the game was built around the principle.

- The premise: the chaser begins the story by placing the hat backwards. The hat dislikes this greatly, and flies off with its propeller. (the hat does not want to go back, you see, only front)

- Gameplay: You must never go back towards the chaser. However, simply going towards the right of the screen would be too easy.  For this reason, the direction of "forward" is dynamic, and keeps changing every few seconds. The direction is determined by the wind, so whatever way the wind blows, you go. You can strafe perpendicular to the wind, and accelerate with it, but never go back against it! This will lead to an instant game over.  

Now this would still be too easy, so the game also throws procedurally generated obstacles at you. You will have to avoid static objects such as trees and lampposts, as well as dynamic obstacles like bees, birds, and boomerangs.
